Some Fun in the Sun,,, And a Few Other Random Things

To start this blog out.. Hailey had a nice 4 day slumber party with her friends Ethan and Mady. She was so excited to get to sleep on the floor! (Although she never really slept on the floor, I ended up having to stick her in her crib every night bc her and Ethan were up running around too much!) We watched our friends kids for a few days so they could have their weekend to themselves to get home/church projects done.


She even got to break a few rules. :]


Here is Ethan and Mady on their last day with us.


She wasn't quite ready for them to leave on Saturday, she asked for help getting into Mady's high chair on the floor in the doorway and when we told her no she took it upon herself to squeeze right in there!


After the kids left we went with Josh and Gina and his niece and her daughter to Oak Glen to walk around and kill our day. It was fun walking to all the stores and see what there was to look at.

Hailey and I sitting on the bench taking pictures right after a goat had gotten loose and tried head butting her bc she decided to chase it down... and then she ate it down these dirty wooden steps so her forehead had a huge brown/red circle in the middle of it along with a nice dirty scrape on her cheek. Lol. She fell when no one was looking but she didn't cry or anything for anyone to worry too much. (I think she was more worried about her snacks that she was trying to pick up!)









Can someone please explain to me why she had to come out with stick straight hair that makes her look like a crack head at times instead of some beautiful curls like mommy!?!?! :] I mean, honestly, doesn't she look like a blond hair, blue eyed Asian to you!!!!??? I guess I should just be greatful for what I get. :D


And last but not least... Hailey and her best friend... Yes... She already has one.. Heather and I agree that its a total love hate relationship, Ella decided to finally by force stay in the freezing pool that we tried warming up with hot bath water.


Definitely her Mother's child... Tanning.. with bathing suit of course, how else sicko!?!? But yet somehow still incredibly white! I don't get it! Thinking about doing a spray on tan for me and Hailey! Hey! Don't judge me! The Moms on Toddler's and Tiara's do it all the time! Whats one time gonna hurt!?!? Haha. JK.

Disneyland!

So Drew and I took Hailey to Disneyland for the first time last month and she HATED it! Lol... ever hear that before? It would be my child to hate the infamous D-Land! We took very few pictures that we haven't received from my friends camera yet (since we broke our camera a while back). So sadly no pictures of the first trip. But... I did take Hailey by myself this past Thursday since it was my cousin's birthday and we have season passes... And this time she loved it... Firstly, she didn't want to get off of the tea cups.. She cried hysterically as we pulled her away from the exit gate, so sad. :( And since we are expecting there are some rides I wasn't able to go on. So while my cousins went on those rides I decided to take Hailey on the Winni the Poo ride... Lets just say we went on it a few times bc all she kept saying for the rest of the day was "I want Poo!" I was a little sad bc we stood in line for 15 minutes to take a picture with Poo Bear and he decided he needed a break three people ahead of me... So we settled for second best and took pictures with Tigger and Eeyore. Whom... both... she was terribly scared of. Lol. So we decided to wait for Poo to come out so she could at least see him from a distance... Talk about a BIG mistake! Lol. I stood there patiently as Hailey blew kisses and yelled "Hi Poo!!" from about 5 feet away loving every bit of her new found love! The problem was getting her away from the pant-less bear! She was kicking and screaming all the way to the food stand where it took a pickle to get her to be quiet! Lol. All in all it was so much fun... I believe she had a nightmare on the way home in the car bc she had such a sad face during her sleep for quiet a while. One of the rides might have been a little much for her (Im thinking Alice and Wonderland or Sleeping Beauty). But here are some pictures of Hailey's second trip to Disneyland! Enjoy!

She thought she was just so cool for getting to control how high and low Dumbo went... Went we would drop or raise quickly she'd say, "weeeeee!" It was so stinkin cute!

Before the Dumbo ride she kept pointing at the waterfall next to the entrance and screaming, "WATER!" Haha.

Our Easter... Somewhat...

This Easter we enjoyed conference at my in laws with a nice big breakfast and a few spiritual messages. We had a little easter egg hunt for the girls... Riley and Hailey... and Luke got his very own in the living room which was super cute... and Justin got his own... which wasn't so cute! Lol. From there Drew and I went to my families to enjoy a late lunch and had a huge easter egg hunt with all the kids... and even those who still would like to be kids. :] We ended up at Drew's Aunts for an awesome Hawaiian dinner! Here are some pics of our Easter Sunday.
